ABOUT
My journey started long before I can remember. Throughout my life, I faced various skin issues like eczema, psoriasis, and hormonal acne. My mom, Jamie, tirelessly applied steroids and creams to ease my flare-ups, but it felt like an endless struggle for the both of us. During my teenage years, we visited countless dermatologists, and I went through more prescriptions than I could ever count, yet relief remained elusive. As I grew older and started choosing my own clothes, I often wore long sleeves in the summer to conceal my dark spots, which took a toll on my confidence and self-esteem. This influenced me to seek my own solutions, leading me to explore genetics, a crucial piece of my puzzle that had never been mentioned to me before. My research expanded to uncovering various inflammatory factors related to skin health, including harmful ingredients in everyday products like pharmaceuticals, toiletries, and cleaning supplies, even down to the packaging they come in.
This marked my realization that the healing I sought, had to come from a trusted source—myself. As I embarked on my healing journey, I became increasingly drawn to the world of holistic wellness and herbal remedies. This process not only brought me emotional and physical comfort but also boosted my confidence. Spiritually, I felt fulfilled, guided, and aligned with my true purpose. I discovered my calling and the unique contributions I could make, leading me to establish a foundation for authentic, clean body care that I believed was lacking in the "Green Beauty Industry." For the past six years, I have dedicated myself to studying and developing restorative body care. Through Honee mecca, my mission is to transform how we perceive well-being and self-care across all demographics, fostering transparency so that our community can collectively embrace effective remedies and meaningful habits that enhance not just our skin, but our overall health and inner selves.
